Tryouts

went well (I think/hope). all I had to do was recite a bible verse , sing "jingle bells" :( and perform a teeny bit of choreography that they taught us beforehand. I chose 2 parts that i would like to have - A weatherperson , or a major. (both speaking parts but not much). Oh by the way - it's called "Operation Christmas Child". I'll know my part next week. in the mean time - i have to learn 3 songs. so - bye for now! :)

When to play: When your apple trees are overflowing to the point were you have to pick apples up off the ground every 2 days.

Things needed: Tennis racket and.............. APPLES!


How to play: Pick up an apple. throw it and hit it with the tennis racket. then watch as the apple "shmears" (breaks into pieces and sprays you with juice.) Try it. FUN!

Try out out for a church play. OK , so you don't really have to try out to get in. It's just so they can see what part is best for me. the thing is i don't really act. but it sounds like fun. so I'm adding yet another thing to my already busy schedule. but it's worth it. wish me luck! :) (tryouts are on Friday)

Soccer.

OK , so I'm playing Home school soccer and the whole team (except me obviously!) is guys. Which was actually quite funny because last week was my first time. I could tell they all thought I was gonna be bad. But I'm actually kinda good. SO... I'm playing defense, (my best position!) and I make a really good play. They all look kind of astonished and pause for a second. I almost cracked up. Then after the game I swear every single person on the team comes up to me and says good game. Kinda funny. anyway by now you must be wondering why I'm telling you this - I just wanted to demonstrate the amount of sexism in the world. all right , I'm probably boring you by now so I'll go. :)
